Yep, it’s Wes.
Chaz has always been a nickname from close friends, and it’s also a small tribute to my dad, Charles. When I started this, the name just felt right, so I rolled with it.
I’m a Carnival cruise guy, a planner by nature, and somebody who genuinely likes helping people make travel feel easier.
How This Whole Thing Came Together
Most people know me as Wes. But if you’ve landed here, welcome to the Chaz side of things.
By day, I work in sales and marketing. That means I’m used to thinking through details, planning things out, keeping moving parts organized, and making decisions feel a whole lot less messy.
Outside of work, I’ve always genuinely loved cruising. Not just the actual vacation part. I like the ships, the itineraries, the cabin choices, the little details, all of it.
Some people unwind by watching sports. I’ll happily compare deck plans and sailing options longer than I probably should.
After enough people started coming to me for cruise advice, trip ideas, and help sorting through the options, this just started to make sense.
So here we are.
Why I Started Chaz’s Cheerful Cruises
I wanted to build something that felt personal, useful, and easy to deal with.
A lot of travel stuff online feels either too complicated or way too salesy. I’m not into either one.
I like being the guy who can step in, calm the chaos, and help you make a smart call without making the whole thing feel heavy.
And the name matters to me too. Chaz is a small nod to my dad, Charles. It keeps a little piece of him in the mix, and that felt right from the start.

What It’s Like To Work With Me
Pretty simple, honestly.
You tell me what you’re trying to do, I do the homework, line up strong options, and walk you through it like a normal person.
No pressure. No weird sales routine. No making you feel dumb for asking questions.
Just solid planning, straight answers, and somebody in your corner who actually enjoys this stuff.
